Make sure all of the documents you are going to use on the Google Site have the right sharing settings. The best way to do this is to put them in a folder and then set the sharing settings of the folder to 'Public'.
If you don't do this, people won't be able to access any of the files on your website.
Before you make your site you need to have the following ready:
your image with all of the hyperlinked clues
your Google Form ready for the answers
any text that you want to add to the site to explain the story.
Open a new Google Site.
Give your site a title.
Click here to change the image behind the title (only if you want to).
Add a text box and type in your introductory story which explains where you are and how you got to be there and what needs to happen for you to get out!
You can change the size, font and colour of the text if you want to.
Add the image from your Google Drive.
Find the file (look in the RECENT tab) and click INSERT.
Your site should now have text and an image on it like this:
Don't worry if the links don't seem like they're working in your Google Drawing. They will work once the Google Site is published.
Add your form from the Google Drive.
Your form should now be embedded in the site like this:
You have your site ready to go. Pat yourself on the back. That was a lot of work. Well done! Now you're ready to PUBLISH and make it go live in the real world!
Click on the PUBLISH button.
Give your website a name.
Make sure that ANYONE can view your site (in the Who can view my site section).
Click PUBLISH.

Get people to test your website to see if your escape room works and to give you feedback about what they enjoyed and what could be improved. Once all that is done, have fun sharing your escape room with the world!
